Big news for free users of Spotify - there's no long a streaming cap...Yay! Until now, free account users provided unlimited ad-supported streaming with its desktop app for only six months until it placed a cap on your account. Now that's all gone, letting you stream music for free until your heart's content, listening to your favorite album on repeat for as long as you want. And the change is a worldwide thing so you can always listen to your favorite tunes while traveling. Spotify managed to raise $250 million in funding last fall, so the new and welcoming feature is probably thanks to that extra cash flow.
