Glance Turns Your Ordinary Watch Into A Smartwatch

If you've been wanting some new wrist gear or are thinking of buying a smartwatch, you might want to save your money. The Kickstarter campaign for Glance will actually make the watch you already own into a smartwatch that'll synch with your phone and perform all the other functions typical of today's smartwatches. The wristband accessory that's designed by Kiwi Wearables can easily be tucked in behind any regular watch you own. It also works with any other wrist-worn accessories like bracelets. Or, you can wear it with the included premium leather strap that comes with it. The device itself is crafted with a thin, lightweight design with machined aluminum that'll sit comfortably behind any wrist accessory.

Like other smartwatches, Glance lets you keep your phone in your pocket, while still alerting you when calls, texts and messages are received. You'll be able to respond to messages by simply pressing a button. It'll also allows you to control your smart TV or computer and will track all your physical activity thanks to its 3D motion detector that measures any movement you take. Currently, it comes with an Android and iOS app, but enough backers are achieved, it'll have an app for Windows and Blackberry, too. Designers also created Glance to have enough juice for a week's worth of wear without having to charge it. But when juice runs out, its battery can be recharged via its USB port. And because you never know what the day might bring, it's also waterproof. The Early Bird Version is still available, allowing you to get a Glance for $70 CAD.
