Make no bones about it, a 17.3-inch laptop is a huge machine and ideal for gaming. Back in May, Lenovo launched their new 2014 14-inch Y40 and 15.6-inch Y50 gaming laptops. Missing from the lot was an expected 17.3-inch beast that finally made its debut today - the Lenovo Y70. On top of that, they're offering a $201 discount this week.

Go big or go home. This 17.3-inch Y70 laptop stands apart from its smaller Y40 and Y50 brothers in a few key ways. For starters, the huge 17.3-inch display is a Touchscreen, which is not an option found on its predecessors. The base model for the Y70 also has a ton of high end specs, including its 4th gen Core i7 processor, a huge 512GB SSD, 16GB RAM, and GeForce GTX 860M 4GB graphics card.
Thus far, only one basic configuration is available for the Y70 Touch laptop. Just last month Lenovo introduced a 4K display for their Y50 gaming laptop. While it's only speculation at this point, it could very well be the future of the Y70 is an upgraded configuration with a 4K 2160p display vs. the current 1080p.
